Harken Carbo Airblocks

Harken Carbo Airblocks
Low-friction Carbo AirBlocks® are lightweight, strong, reliable—and affordable. Companions to the popular Harken® Black Magic® line, these small, compact blocks have very high working loads for safe, easy trimming.

Lightweight nylon resin sideplates replace stainless steel straps found in Classic blocks. Densely packed glass fibers reinforce resin for strength.

Harken Carbo Air Blocks are Harken's answer to the low-friction block. These lightweight, durable and affordable sailing blocks are made with weight-saving nylon resin side plates and have densely-packed glass fibers for strength and reinforcement. Although they are relatively compact, these blocks can handle exceptionally high working loads and provide you with safe and easy trimming in any condition on your dinghy or sportboat. These Harken blocks come in an assortment of options to meet your unique needs, and the team here at Atlantic Rigging Supply can help you decide which size is best for your boat.

The smallest Harken Carbo Air Blocks are the Harken 29-MM Carbo Blocks, which are the perfect option for dinghies and sportboats. These blocks offer smooth-running yet powerful performance and come in options to fit multiple systems, including singles, doubles, triples and soft and hard attach. They are ideal for applications such as main, jib and spinnaker sheets as well as control lines. The 40-MM Carbo Blocks are a larger alternative to the 22-millimeter style, while the 40-MM Carbo Ratchet Blocks have switch-operated ratchets which allow you to hand-hold loaded lines for a good balance between holding power and easing.

Atlantic Rigging Supply also has Harken Carbo Air Blocks for larger boats, such as the 57-MM Carbo Blocks that provide a maximum working load of up to 1,080 kilograms. The Harken 75-MM Carbo Air Blocks are just as lightweight and strong as the smaller styles but can handle working loads of between 136 and 1,650 kilograms. We also offer Harken Carbo Ratchamatic Blocks - load-sensing ratchet blocks that roll freely in both directions under low loads - to allow you to seamlessly move between ratchet and light-air modes for great performance in various conditions.
